Since the beginning of human existence the family unit and community has cared for their aging loved ones. Somewhere along history, in some parts of the earth, death became taboo. It turned from a beautiful time of transition to a scary time to be hushed. It became a billion dollar industry.
what is death alchemy?
My work as a Death Alchemist envelops three parts of our souls transition: as a Death Doula I bring presence and care while providing comfort and support to family or caregiver and nurturing touch to the soul in transition, as an At Home Funeral Guide I’ll guide the family how to perform their own funeral (legally) while empowering the dying by involving them in all decisions and as a Ceremonialist I restore sacredness while providing the tools and intention to honor this beautiful transition.
